Floor Turkey and Veggie Stir-Fry Recipe

Makes 2 Servings

  • 1/2cup jasmine rice
  • 8ounces extra-lean floor turkey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons additional virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium purple bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 massive garlic cloves, minced
  • 2cups child spinach
  • 1tablespoon tamari
Instructions
  1. Prepare dinner the rice in accordance with package deal instructions.

  2. Add the turkey to a pan over medium warmth, breaking it up because it cooks. 

  3. As soon as the turkey is cooked by means of and not pink, switch the turkey to a bowl or plate and drain any extra drippings from the pan. Put aside.

  4. Regulate the warmth to medium-high and add oil. 

  5. Add the bell pepper and onion to the pan and cook dinner, stirring typically, for 4–6 minutes, or till greens are simply tender.

  6. Add the garlic and spinach to the pan and proceed to cook dinner till the spinach has wilted. 

  7. Add the cooked turkey again to the pan and stir to mix.

  8. Add the tamari to the pan and stir nicely. Proceed to cook dinner for an additional 1–2 minutes, or till tamari has been absorbed into the meat and greens.

  9. Divide the rice and stir-fry combination between plates.
